Iranian Quranic community will hold rallies tomorrow, September 21, to protest the US-made blasphemous anti-Islam movie.
According to IQNA’s correspondent, a large number of prominent Quran experts, reciters, memorizers and scholars are expected to be in attendance to the rallies.
In Tehran a rally will be held at Palestine square at 11:00 a.m. local time.
There have been demonstrations over the blasphemous film outside US diplomatic posts in several countries across the world.
The protesters say the people involved in the production of the film should be prosecuted, US diplomats should be expelled from their countries, and the US government should offer an apology.
In Yemen, five protesters were killed on September 13 and 14 by security forces outside the US Embassy in Sana’a.
On September 11, demonstrators in Libya attacked the US consulate building in the city of Benghazi. US Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three staff members were killed in the incident.
