The session is slated to be held on Thursday, April 8, by the northern European country’s Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center.
The Islamic center is located in the Swedish capital of Stockholm.
According to imamalicenter.se, Seyed Mohammad Javad Mousavi, the Iranian Quran master, will recite the Quran at the program, which will be held at the Islamic center’s Mosalla (prayers hall).
A number of other young Quran reciters and memorizers will also recite the Quran and the Taha al-Nabi Tawasheeh group will perform Tawasheeh songs at the event.
It is aimed at promotion of the Quranic and Islamic values and encouraging the youth to learn the Quran.
Sweden is a Scandinavian country in Northern Europe bordering Norway to the west and Finland to the east.
More than 500,000 Muslims live in Sweden making up some 5 percent of total population.
