"I am so saddened to hear that. And I say, 'Stop it'. If it - if it helps. I will say this, and I will say right to the cameras: Stop it," Trump told the CBS' '60 Minute' yesterday.
He was responding to a question on a wave of alleged hate crimes against Muslims, Hispanic Americans, black people and ethnic minorities in recent days.
"Do you want to say anything to those people?" he was asked.
"I would say don't do it, that's terrible, 'cause I’m gonna bring this country together," Trump said.
The president-elect said some sections of the society are scared about him because they do not know him. He asked them not to be afraid.
