Al-Askari Holy Shrine
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Al-Askari Holy Shrine is located in the Iraqi city of Samarra, 125 km (78 mi) from Baghdad.
It is one of the most important Shia shrines in the world.
Al-Askari Shrine is also known as the "Mausoleum of the Two Imams”, as it contains the tomb of Imam Hadi (AS) and Imam Hassan Askari (AS).
