Qassemi denounced the attacks and expressed sympathy with the government and nation of Afghanistan and families of victims.
He underlined that Iran always condemns any violence and act of terror no matter in what form or for what purpose it takes place.
He went on to say that it is time for regional countries’ nations and governments to unite and strive to rid the region and world of terrorism and violence once and for all.
Two suicide blasts rocked the Afghan capital of Kabul on Tuesday, killing 28 people and injuring several others. The Taliban terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attacks.
Also on Tuesday, two blasts hit the residence of the provincial governor of Kandahar. The ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Afghanistan and the governor of Kandahar are reported to be among the injured.
