Mourning Ceremony in Afghanistan Marks Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) Martyrdom Anniversary
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A mourning ceremony on martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA) was organized at Sultaniyeh Mosque in Mazar-i-Sharif, a city in north of Afghanistan.
According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Jannat-ul-Hussein (AS) and Beyt-ul-Ahzan religious groups held the program after the evening congregational prayers.
Hadith Kisaa and some verses of the Holy Quran were recited by eminent Qaris of the region at the ceremony.
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Heidar Hashemi, Friday prayer leader in Mazar-i-Sharif, was the speaker in the program. He talked about the status and virtues of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) beloved daughter.
