Ibrahim Mohamed Bu Melha, Head of DIHQA organizing committee, who chaired the
meeting said, "The award, with its exceptional organization, big number of
contestants, lucrative awards, and high calibre arbitrators, has become a
leading hub for Quran competitions worldwide.”
The award will host an elite group of renowned scholars from around the world
to develop public religious awareness over a week-long program at the Dubai Chamber
of Commerce and Industry, GToday reported.
The daily sessions of the international Quran competitions shall then kick off
with an unprecedented number of contestants from across the globe, he said,
adding, "So far, 96 Arab and Islamic countries and foreign communities have
affirmed participation this year.”
