Iranian Teenage Qari, Tawasheeh Group in Turkey
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quranic delegation from Iran has been dispatched to Ankara, Turkey to hold Quranic programs on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The delegation includes 14-year-old memorizer of the entire Quran Matin Maqulian, Quran reciter Behnam Rahmani, and Meshkat Tawasheeh (religious songs) group from the northwestern Iranian city of Ardebil, Seyed Mohammad Alavi, the head of the delegation told IQNA.
He said they arrived in Ankara on Friday and received by a representative of the Iranian Cultural Center in Turkey.
Alavai noted that they will perform Quranic and religious programs in mosques and Quranic circles in Ankara.
The Iranian Cultural Center in Ankara and the Union of the Islamic Radios and Televisions cooperate in holding the programs, he went on to say.
