The courses were organized by a branch of the Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine, according to al-Kafeel website.
Tens of men, women, boys and girls of different ages took the courses, which featured Quran reading, recitation and memorization of the 30th Juz (part) of the Holy Book.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Sheikh Ziaeddin al-Zubaidi, an official with the Quranic center, underlined the role such courses can play in promoting the Quranic culture.
He also thanked the organizers and Quran teachers for their efforts to foster the culture and teachings of the Holy Quran and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
The branch of the Quran Center in Britain has organized various Quranic programs, including educational courses, since its establishment.
