Preparing Banners for Muharram Mourning Ceremonies
TEHRAN (IQNA) – As the lunar Hijri month of Muharram approaches, Shia people around the world are preparing for mourning ceremonies marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS).
The following photos show a workshop in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad where banners are being made to be used in the mourning rituals.
