According to IQNA dispatches, the draw for the competition was held on Monday morning.
Based on the draw, Iranian Qari Mokhtar Dehqan’s turn for reciting the Quran at the international event will come on Thursday.
The competition will be officially launched on Monday night at Kuala Lumpur’s Putra Jaya World Trade Center.
It will conclude on Saturday, May 12, with the awarding ceremony.
Last year, 91 Quran reciters and memorizers from 49 countries attended the Quranic event.
In the last year edition, Iranian Qari Hamed Alizadeh bagged the top prize in the recitation category.
