Quran Learners Honored in Egypt

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A group of students of Quran memorization were honored in a ceremony in Egypt’s Faiyum Governorate.

  

According to Misr News website, a total of 174 girls and boys who took courses on memorization of the Quran were honored at the ceremony.

They have also recently won a Quran competition held under the supervision of Taha Ramadan, a Quran master in the governorate.

A number of officials as well as instructors of the courses and Quranic center officials attended the event at the governorate’s capital city of Faiyum.

Egypt is an Arab country in North Africa. More than 90 percent of Egyptians are Muslim.

It is a country where Quranic activities are popular.
