According to Shababik website, the top winners of the two categories of the contest were students of the faculties of medicine and pharmacy.
In memorization of the entire Quran, Mahmoud Mohammad bagged the top prize. In the other category, memorization of half of the Quran, the winner was Maaz Abdul Ghani, a pharmacy student.
The contest was held on Wednesday and Thursday by the “For Egypt” society.
The two top winners received cash prizes of 2000 Egyptian pounds.
