‘True Face of Genocide’: Israeli Soldier Desecrates Quran at Destroyed Gaza Mosque
That video, recorded and posted online by the Israeli regime forces themselves, shows a soldier tearing apart a Quran, Islam’s revealed text, and throwing it to the floor of a destroyed mosque.
“The footage of Israeli occupation forces openly desecrating the Quran in a destroyed mosque shows the true face of the genocide against the Palestinian people,” said National Deputy Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Edward Ahmed Mitchell.
“It is clear from the ongoing Israeli destruction of Palestinian religious, cultural, political, medical, and academic institutions that the ultimate goal of Netanyahu’s government is the erasure of as many Palestinians from the Gaza Strip as possible and the permanent subjugation of any who survive.”
