‘Quran, Contemporary Issues’ Int’l Conference to Kick Off in Karbala Today
“Holy Quran and Contemporary Society’s Issues” is the theme of this edition.
It will be organized with the cooperation of Al-Zahra University.
The two-day conference aims to clarify the Holy Quran’s approach to social issues.
The scholars participating at the conference will highlight the comprehensive teachings of the Quran.
They will also stress the need for supervising Quranic studies and boosting the knowledge of researchers in the field.
Model of social relations in view of the Quran, ideal society in view of the Quran, daily challenges one faces in life and their solution in view of the Quran, phenomenology of the text of the Quran, and social reform at the time of Imam Hussein (AS) in view of the Quran are among the topics of discussion at the conference.
