Adhan Echoes from Israeli-Destroyed Gaza Mosque
AL-QUDS (IQNA) – A drone camera recorded the scene of a ruined mosque in Khan Younis, where a call to prayer echoed from the rubble.
The video, captured on November 29, revealed the extent of the damage caused by the Israeli airstrikes that followed the Oct 7 Hamas surprise operation. The relentless Israeli military campaign killed more than 15,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Dozens of mosques, once places of worship and community, were reduced to a pile of debris and dust. The video also showed the surrounding area, where many buildings and structures were destroyed or damaged by the bombardment.
