The Ibn Rushd School and the Shuhada al-Aqsa Mosque, located near Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, were hit in the attack.
Israeli strikes have resulted in over 50 Palestinian deaths across Gaza since Saturday morning.
An Aljazeera correspondent reported that the mosque, situated across from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, was struck by the Israeli military around 2 a.m. local time.
The mosque, which has served as a shelter for displaced families for nearly a year, was severely damaged by the airstrikes. The report noted significant destruction to the mosque and surrounding properties, including many department stores on the main road.
