IQNA – Some individuals embody completeness and wisdom, enabling them to lead a pure life as cultivating certain characteristics is key to attaining these virtues.

Human perfection

According to a narration from Imam Hussein (AS), a person possessing five crucial characteristics becomes someone with whom others can connect. Such individuals contribute positively to human welfare, while those lacking these traits may struggle to find goodness within themselves and fail to bring goodness to others.

The first characteristic is possessing a sound intellect. This means basing actions on rationality and allowing reason to guide one's conduct. A perfect intellect is one that leads to the worship of God.

The second feature revolves around religion, encompassing a set of value-based laws that dictate actions involving religious obligations and the avoidance of immoral deeds. A person needs a robust religious foundation to bring about positive outcomes for themselves and others.

Politeness stands as the third hallmark of a perfect human being. It is a valuable trait that, when passed down from a father to children, serves as a lasting legacy.

Modesty and chastity constitute the fourth characteristic. Maintaining modesty involves avoiding errors, refraining from excessive talk, and treating sins with the seriousness they deserve.

The fifth characteristic pertains to good manners, which can enhance one's prosperity. Lacking proper morals may result in missed opportunities and challenges in both this life and the hereafter.

Achieving perfection, a good life, and success in this world and the hereafter involves adhering to the teachings of the Holy Quran, Prophet Muhammad, and Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Neglecting these principles can lead individuals astray and onto misguided paths.
