The country’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched it, named the Rafid Al-Haramain, in partnership with Mecca’s Umm Al-Qura University.
As part of the Rafid Al-Haramain initiative, 100,000 workers in the public, private, and non-profit sectors will be trained to ensure that the services they offer are of the highest quality and leave a lasting positive impression on the pilgrims.
Four diverse training programs are available, and trainees will benefit from the best local and international expertise, Saudi Press Agency reported.
Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca that every able-bodied and financially able Muslim is obliged to undertake at least once during their lifetime.

The annual pilgrimage is regarded as one of the pillars of Islam and the largest act of mass pilgrimage in the world. It is also a demonstration of Muslims’ unity and their submission to Allah.
This year’s Hajj is expected to fall between Friday, June 14, 2024, to Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
