Over 600 Mosques Totally Destroyed in Israeli War on Gaza
This is according to the Gaza Awqaf Ministry, which also said in a report that the Zionist regime’s bombs and missiles have also partially destroyed 200 other mosques in Gaza.
It added that 60 percent of mosques in the Palestinian enclave have sustained damage in the Israeli strikes.
According to the report, the occupation regime has also targeted 60 cemeteries in the Gaza Strip, exhuming and stealing the bodies of more than 1,000 martyrs.
The Awqaf ministry has not been spared, either, the report said, with 15 buildings belonging to the ministry, including its main headquarters, the headquarters of the Quran Radio, the Awqaf department in Khan Yunis and the archives and manuscripts center having been completely destroyed in the attacks.

Also, 91 Awqaf ministry staff have been martyred in the Israeli strikes so far, it went on to say.
According to international law, attacking mosques and other places of worship is considered a war crime.
