Occupied West Bank: Israeli Forces Kill 4 Palestinians Near Ramallah

IQNA – Four Palestinians were killed and eight others injured by gunfire from Israeli forces near the village of Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah.

 

According to security sources, an Israeli special force fired live bullets at a vehicle on Monday, resulting in the deaths of the four Palestinians. The bodies were retained by the occupation army, WAFA News Agency reported.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Raslan Abdo, Mohammad Jaber Abdo, and Rushdi Samih Ataya. The identity of the fourth individual has not been disclosed.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews received a call about multiple injuries following the gunfire at the vehicle near Kafr Ni’ma. This incident was followed by an Israeli military incursion into the village, sparking confrontations.

The Ministry of Health stated that eight additional individuals were injured by live fire during these confrontations. They were transported to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, where their injuries were classified as ranging from minor to moderate.

In response to the incident, the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) has announced a general strike in the Ramallah governorate on Tuesday as a condemnation of the Israeli occupation’s killing of the four Palestinians.

Since the onset of the war on the besieged Gaza Strip in early October 2023, casualties in the West Bank have been escalating due to intensified Israeli raids into villages and cities in the occupied territories.

The Health Ministry reports that at least 538 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 5,200 others injured by Israeli military forces’ fire in the occupied territory since then.

Furthermore, Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip over the past eight months have killed at least 37,124 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.
