The Union in a statement expressed its deep dissatisfaction with what happened at the games’ inauguration, which included desecration of divine prophets, especially Jesus (AS).
The IUMS described it as a sign of unprecedented moral decline and a serious violation of human values.
It said what the inauguration ceremony focused on what in contrast to divine rules and human Fitrat (nature) warning that such moves would lead to the spread of corruption, crimes, hate and disrespect among people.
The international body called on preachers and prayer leaders to reiterate the need for respecting all divine prophets and stress that Jesus (AS) is one of the Ulul Azm messengers of God (arch-prophet) who is revered by all Muslims.
