Tabriz Grand Mosque Displaying A History of Iranian Architecture

IQNA – The Grand Mosque (Jameh Mosque) of Tazbriz is among the northwestern Iranian city’s historical buildings dating back to the Seljuk era (11th and 12th centuries AD).

Also known as Jameh Kabiri, it is one of the oldest monuments of Tabriz, around which the Bazaar of Tabriz has been formed. 

The mosque has been registered as a national heritage site. Visitors to the mosque can learn about the architectural features of the Seljuk, Ilkhanid, Safavid, and Qajar eras.
