Muslims Protest Germany’s Mosque Closure in Frankfurt

IQNA – Hundreds of Shia Muslims in Germany gathered in front of a Mosque in Frankfurt for a prayer ceremony and protest against the closure of the mosque.

In late July, German police raided several mosques in different cities, including the Imam Ali Mosque in Hamburg and affiliated religious centers in Frankfurt and Berlin.

Several other protests have taken place in recent weeks in various German cities against the closure of mosques and religious centers.

Last week, a demonstration was organized in Berlin where protesters chanted slogans such as "Hands off our mosques."
