IQNA – Mayor of Tehran Ali Reza Zakani said the annual Arbaeen pilgrimage is an opportunity to prepare for Zuhur (the advent of the Savior).

Tehran Mayor Ali Reza Zakani

Zakani made the remark in a speech at a ceremony held to honor the Tehran Municipality staff who took part in activities serving the Arbaeen pilgrims this year.

It was organized at Tehran’s Milad Tower on Wednesday.

He said Arbaeen includes both getting prepared and preparing others for Zuhur.

Those who take part in the annual procession not only prepare themselves for the realization of the divine promise (about the coming of the Savior), but also pave the way for the world to get ready for the spread of justice, he stated.

He also said the Shia world will conquer the summits of glory with the two wings of Ashura and awaiting the Savior.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Zakani described the Arbaeen march as a manifestation of Muslim unity and said it is a maneuver of the Muslim world’s power and grandeur.
