IQNA – A door-to-door campaign for economic boycott of Muslims has reportedly begun in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the hate movement was launched by extremist Hindu organizations against Sanjuli Masjid in Shimla and has gradually spread throughout Himachal.

The Congress government in Himachal is silent on this matter. The Congress state minister himself is speaking the language of BJP leaders against Muslims and Islam. Pamphlets are being distributed regularly and appeals are being made not to buy goods from Muslim shops and stalls.

In the midst of fear and harassment, Muslims have suddenly closed their shops in Hamirpur. In the name of an extremist organization called Dev Bhoomi Jagran Manch, a pamphlet is being distributed from house to house.

The pamphlet appeals not to rent out shops to outsiders and not to hire outside painters, plastering salons and shops and not to do any kind of business.
