IQNA – The Armenian quarter of Isfahan, established by Shah Abbas I, is known as New Jolfa and was created to utilize the skills of Armenian merchants, entrepreneurs, and artists.
Today, the area is centered around the Vank Cathedral and hosts several Armenian churches and an old cemetery.
