Quran Memorizer among Martyrs in Gaza Tent Camp Fire
One of those martyred in the fire was Sahaaban al-Dalw, a memorizer of the Holy Quran, it has emerged.
His mother was also killed in the blaze on Monday, according to Arabi21.
Videos shared on social media showed rescuers scrambling to save people as they struggled to contain the fire at the tent camp in the city of Deir el-Balah.
The 19-year-old Quran memorizer was an engineering student.
He had earlier recorded a video in which he called on the world to support the people of Palestine against the Israeli regime’s brutal aggression.
