The IUMS issued a statement on Monday, urging the entire Muslim Ummah and noble people of the world to rise up in solidarity and express their support for the people of the Gaza Strip, especially the northern part of the Palestinian enclave, who have been in total isolation and siege.
As the Zionist occupiers continue committing the worst crimes against Gaza and the people in the Palestinian enclave are facing hunger, thirst, famine, massacre and bombing, massive rallies should be held everywhere to condemn the Israeli regime’s state terrorism, it said.
The IUMS condemned the international silence on the atrocities, considering it as complicity in the Israeli crimes.
It called on the international community to fulfil its legal, human and moral responsibility regarding the massacre of people in Gaza.
The Zionist regime has been bombing Gaza since October 7, 2023, killing more than 42,000 people, mostly women and children, and injuring nearly 100,000 others.
The Israeli attacks have also destroyed homes, schools, hospitals, mosques and infrastructures in the Gaza Strip and displaced hundreds of thousands of people.
