Speaking to IQNA, Saed Hassounah said the Israeli regime has adopted the strategy of repressing any form of Palestinian resistance.

The goal of the Zionists’ brutal and violent attacks is to break the morale of the resistance and destroy the organizational structure of resistance groups, he stated.
Israel is trying to show its domination over occupied territories by committing crimes but its measures only intensify Palestinians’ anger and leads to more interest in resistance, he added.

According to Hassounah, one year after the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, the Zionist regime remain in a state of confusion and has lost all legitimacy in the international arena, facing growing criticism over its inhuman atrocities.
The Israeli regime, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, is also suffering from internal mistrust and is frightened by the continuous resistance of Palestinians, he said.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he referred to Iran’s policy regarding the current crisis in the Middle East, saying the Islamic Republic has adopted a judicious and resilient strategy.
Iran supports the Palestinian resistance with political and military means and this enhances the capability and organizational power of resistance against the occupiers, he stated.
