“He [Sinwar] was a shining face of resistance and struggle; with unbreakable determination, he stood against the cruel and oppressive enemy; with wisdom and courage, he struck a blow against them; he left a lasting mark on the history of this region with the unforgettable blow of October 7th; and then, with honor and dignity, he ascended to the rank of martyrdom,” Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei wrote.
“For someone like him, who spent his life fighting against the oppressive and usurping enemy, martyrdom was the only fitting end,” he added.
“His loss is undoubtedly painful for the resistance front, but this front has never stopped advancing despite the martyrdom of prominent figures like Sheikh Ahmad Yassin, Fathi Shaqaqi, Rantisi, and Ismail Haniyeh, and it will not falter with the martyrdom of Sinwar either, God willing,” the Leader said, adding, “Hamas is alive and will remain alive.”
Ayatollah Khamenei vowed that Iran will “as always stand alongside the devoted fighters.”
