A large number of the university’s scholars, professors and students attended the opening ceremony at the Imam Khomeini (RA) complex.

Hojat-ol-Islam Amin Reza Abedinejad, the university’s research deputy, said at the ceremony that 12 foreign branches of the university have taken part in the expo.

He also stressed the need for developing a liberating scientific system that is not dependent on the arrogant system.

He said more than a century after the establishment of universities in the Muslim world, most of these academic centers have failed to contribute to the civilization-building current because of their dependence on domineering powers.

Al-Mustafa International University is a religious and Islamic university established to expand and introduce Islamic and religious teachings in the world through modern facilities and technologies.

It is a scholarly and educational institution that like other such institutions strives to develop thought and help society and humanity.
