15 Tons of Samanu Cooked in Shiraz

IQNA –  Coinciding with the auspicious celebrations of the month of Shaaban and the commemoration of the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory, a ceremony for cooking fifteen tons of Samanu was held over three days (February 3-5, 2025) at the holy shrine of Sayed Alaeddin Hossein (AS) in Shiraz, south of Iran.

Samanu is a sweet paste made from germinated wheat (young wheatgrass) and wheat flour.
