Jamkran Mosque Hosts Huge Gathering Ahead of Mid-Shaaban Eid

IQNA – A large gathering of those awaiting the advent of the Savior (AS) was held at the Jamkaran Mosque in Qom, Iran, as the Mid-Shaaban Eid approaches.

More than 20,000 people from different parts of Isfahan Province attended the gathering on Thursday. 

The families of a number of martyrs of the province, including Martyrs Mohammad Reza Zahedi, Seyed Mohammad Hosseinzadeh Hejazi and Abbas Nilforoushan, were honored at the event.

It also included recitation of the Kumayl Supplication by Mehdi Mansouri and eulogy recitations in praise of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).

In the days leading up to the Mid-Shaaban Eid, the Jamkaran Mosque hosts various programs with the participation of people from different walks of life.

The Mid-Shaaban Eid, marking the birth anniversary of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent), falls on the 15th day of the lunar Hijri month of Shaaban.

Shia Muslims all over the world will celebrate the auspicious occasion on February 14 this year.
