The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance also banned the broadcasting of prayers on any media platforms, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The guidelines emphasize the need for imams and preachers to comply with these rules and for worshippers to maintain proper decorum and religious etiquette.

These measures, according to the ministry, aim to protect the sanctity of mosques and ensure a peaceful worship environment free from disruptions.

Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al Sudais, Head of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, highlighted the ministry’s commitment to enhancing services and programs for the holy month.
