Speaking to IQNA, Ahmed Abdul Rahman said that the idea, proposed by Egypt, is Israel’s own offer of conspiracy and betrayal to defeat the Palestinian people, “a betrayal that we witnessed in the first phase of the ceasefire after Netanyahu’s resumption of the war.”
The proposal to disarm the resistance and expel the resistance fighters and hand over all the Zionist captives is unacceptable and is nothing but a huge minefield full of dirt that the Zionists have planted in front of the resistance and an attempt at conspiracy and betrayal, he said.
On the other hand, the release of all Zionist captives for several weeks in exchange for humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and the release of Palestinian prisoners, most of whom were captured after October 7, 2023, as well as the release of 54 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment, details the Israeli regime’s proposed document on the 45-day temporary ceasefire in Gaza, he noted.
“But it must be said that the attempt to force resistance to disarmament is a Zionist, American and even Arab conspiracy, and after the end of the 45-day temporary ceasefire, the Zionist enemy will resume the killing and slaughter of Palestinians.
“I believe that the disarmament of the resistance is impossible and will never happen, because the resistance weapon is a legitimate weapon and the weapon of the Palestinian people and all Palestinians, and it is not only the weapon of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The rockets and bombs of resistance against the weapons of mass destruction that Israel uses to commit crimes are insignificant, and even if there were no bombs and rockets, the Palestinians would resist the Zionist occupation regime with stone throwing, and this is seen in the background of the Palestinians’ struggle against the occupiers.”
Abdul Rahman added that the disarmament proposal is only meant to demonstrate the failure of the resistance and the surrender of the Palestinian people to the Zionist regime, but it will never be realized.

Asked why the Tel Aviv regime resumed the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, the analyst said the resumption of the war by the occupation regime after the ceasefire was foreseen, because from the first day of signing the ceasefire agreement, the enemy did not allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza, while the text of the agreement emphasized the entry of humanitarian aid, and despite the opening of crossings such as the Salahuddin and the return of Palestinian refugees to their homes, the regime did not allow medicines and health aid to enter Gaza, all of which showed that the occupation regime only wants to retrieve part of the Zionist captives and is indifferent to the situation and the situation of the Palestinians.
“The information gathered after the ceasefire and the Zionist regime’s movements to remain in the center of the Gaza Strip and in close proximity to the axis of Salahuddin all indicated that the regime did not intend to end the war.
“I believe that Netanyahu has no intention of ending the war at all, because the political future of the Zionist regime is directly linked to the war, and if the war in Gaza ends, it will face a lot of opposition from the extreme right, and on the other hand, it has tensions with the army, the Israeli security agency (Shabaak) and the judiciary of the regime, and it faces a lot of accusations inside, and there is even the possibility of imprisoning Netanyahu for 10 years after the dismissal, so he sees the resumption of the war in Gaza as an important tool to get out of these crises and extend his rule.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Abdul Rahman was asked about the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
“The food, medicine and health crisis in the Gaza Strip has reached its peak these days. The siege of Gaza began in 2007 and since then, the residents of the area have suffered and witnessed many problems, and only a few humanitarian supplies have entered the Gaza Strip through the West Bank or Egypt, and the area has not had enough facilities to live,” he said.
“Now, after 14 months of intense pressure and targeting of Palestinian infrastructure, hospitals, vital and health centers by the Zionists, the Palestinians are in a severe crisis and the occupation regime has exacerbated this crisis by closing the crossings and preventing aid, and has continued the war, killings and siege of the Palestinians.”
He went on to say that today, more than two million Palestinians are facing the threat of death and starvation, but unfortunately, none of the countries and international organizations have reacted but they have stood silent.
“Arab and Islamic countries, which have held several meetings on Gaza in Cairo, Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Cooperation Organization, cannot send even one aid shipment to the Gaza Strip without Israel’s permission, so the Palestinian people feel desperate and in a difficult situation, but they will never give up, and have adopted the weapon of patience and tolerance as a strategic weapon to defeat the will and power of the Zionist regime.”
