WFPIST Chief to Address ‘Science, Religion, AI’ Conference in Zagreb

IQNA – The 9th international conference of science, religion and artificial intelligence will be held in the capital of Croatia, on April 24-25.

The Islamic Center of Zagreb

 

“Science, Religion and Artificial Intelligence; The Moral Aspect: Harmonization and Dissemination of Doubts" will be the theme of the event.

The Islamic Center of Zagreb will host the two-day international conference.

It will be organized by the Islamic Community of Croatia, the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, and the International Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Shahriari, teh secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST) will be among the main speakers.

He will be accompanied by Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mohammad Reza Mortazavi, the WFPIST’s international affairs deputy, in the trip to Croatia.

The international scholarly event will also feature lectures by Professor Dr. Klaus Mainzer, president of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Europe; Franco Ceronaka, president of the Ethics Association of the United States; Osama Al-Azhari, minister of Awqaf and religious affairs of Egypt; Mufti Aziz Effendi; Professor Asim Kuryak, president of the International Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina; and Professor Velimir Sreč, professor at the University of Zagreb.
