The awards ceremony took place in the presence of prominent religious leaders and officials from the region, including the Grand Muftis of Kosovo, Albania, and Estonia, along with religious scholars and representatives of Islamic institutions from across the Balkans.
The event featured Quranic recitations by participants, as well as a documentary presentation outlining the competition's three-year journey and structure. The program also included remarks by several attendees, highlighting the significance of such events in encouraging youth to engage with the Quran and fostering cross-border religious cooperation.

Officials emphasized the value of strengthening spiritual and cultural ties within the Muslim world, especially through educational and religious programs. The Grand Mufti of Kosovo noted the positive impact such initiatives have on Muslim communities in the region, helping preserve their identity and connection to the Quran.
A total of 142 male and female contestants from across the Balkans and Europe qualified for the finals, competing in five categories: full Quran memorization; memorization of 10 parts, five parts, and two parts; and tajweed recitation of five parts.
The total cost of organizing the competition and its accompanying activities exceeded 1.2 million Saudi riyals (approximately USD 320,000).
