Official Praises Astan of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine for Supporting Gaza Families
Mohammad Yousef, head of the Al-Baqiyat al-Salihat Association in the Gaza Strip praised the humanitarian assistance provided by Astan in the Gaza Strip.
He stressed that these measures had a huge impact in supporting citizens and strengthening their morale in the most difficult conditions.
Yousef said that the aid provided by the Astan was very important for the people of Gaza, as it significantly helped to rebuild many families who had been deprived of the most basic necessities of life as a result of the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.
The aid included shelter tents, basic food supplies and cash assistance that enabled the affected families to meet their basic needs amid a lack of employment opportunities and disruption in financial resources, he added.
He explained that these humanitarian initiatives helped boost the morale of the citizens and were a strong message of solidarity from the brotherly nation of Iraq.
It was also an emphasis that the Palestinian people are not alone in this tragedy (Israeli genocidal war on Gaza), he stated.
