Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Reza Arbabsoleimani, the Quran and Etrat Deputy of Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, made the remark in a meeting in Tehran with a group of Quran activists from Thailand.
“If you want to strive for the health and salvation of human society, there is no way but to turn to the Quran,” he said.
“If we are servants of the Quran, we must be grateful to God. We have been guided in this direction, and to increase our use of the Quran day by day, we must understand its meanings and apply them in our lives.”
He added, “Our shared work with you is the Holy Quran, which is the common language of Muslims. Therefore, the Quran is the strategic roadmap for our present and future life, and your great movement to promote and develop the Quranic culture is a significant endeavor and a divine blessing.”
Hojat-ol-Islam Arbabsoleimani also urged the Quran activists to attach importance to Salah (prayers), which has been emphasized in the Quran.
“As ambassadors of the Quran, read the divine verses well, practice them sincerely, and promote them effectively. The world today is thirsty for the knowledge of the Quran. The veil of ignorance and heedlessness prevents people from benefiting from the Quran. You and I must strive to eliminate this heedlessness and combat ignorance and superstition so that the light of the Quran may shine upon hearts. God willing, a day will come when the flag of the Quran will be raised throughout the world.”
He also referred to the group’s visits to holy sites in Iran and said, “Your trips to the sacred cities of Mashhad and Qom and your visitation of the holy shrines signify that this has been a blessed and fruitful trip for you.”
He further said Quranic connections between the two countries will foster synergy in Quranic activities between Iran and Thailand.
