The Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance at Qatar’s Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs announced the opening of registration for morning Quranic sessions.

This is part of the program's efforts to utilize the summer vacation to develop educational and religious aspects among young people.

The ministry said in a statement Monday that the program targets boys aged five years and above and includes teaching basic spelling lessons and reviewing the Holy Quran, along with accompanying educational programs to reinforce Islamic values and positive behavior among participants.

The sessions are scheduled to begin next Sunday morning and continue until the end of the month in 14 Quranic centers distributed across various regions, ensuring easy access and benefit for the largest possible number of students.

The sessions will be held four days a week, from Sunday to Wednesday, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, under the supervision of a select group of teachers specializing in teaching the Holy Quran and its sciences.

The Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance emphasized the importance of these programs in instilling a love of the Holy Quran and promoting Islamic values in children, in a safe and stimulating educational environment.
