IQNA – A special training course for female teachers of Islamic sciences from Macedonia was held in the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A special training course for female teachers of Islamic sciences from Macedonia was held in the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (September 2025).

 

Female teachers of Islamic sciences working in the mosques of the capital of Macedonia were present in this training course, which was organized by the Sheikhness of Sofia.

“Maktabs (traditional religious schools); Proper investment in young generations”, “The role of Maktabs in protecting identity”, “The role of Maktabs in Bosnia and Herzegovina” and “Maktabs, the center of education” were among the topics discussed in this course.

In addition to presenting successful experiences from religious schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina, some of the educational issues and practical challenges related to the management of religious education in schools were discussed in the course.
