The stamp was issued in cooperation with Iraq’s Ministry of Communications as part of the International Festival Rahmah lil-Alamin (Mercy to the Worlds).
The festival, organized by the shrine, began on September 8, 2025, corresponding with the 15th of Rabi’ al-Awwal, and runs for three days, according to Al-Kafeel.
Sayyid Ridwan al-Salami, Deputy Head of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the shrine, said that official coordination is underway with the Ministry of Communications to complete procedures for approval, publication, and distribution of the stamp in several countries as an international issue.
“The aim of this stamp is to document the historic event of the Prophet’s birth and preserve it in cultural and media memory through a medium that carries cultural and heritage value,” al-Salami said.
