The Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center has organized the course in cooperation with the Arab Islamic Academy in Cambodia, with the participation of 60 male and female students.

The course aims to improve students’ proficiency in Arabic, particularly in conversation skills.

The course will continue for nearly a full month, during which teachers will train students in communication and conversation, as well as enhance their academic and scientific performance through the center’s advanced curricula.

These curricula take into account individual differences among students and adopt the modern methods of teaching and learning.

Students have shown great enthusiasm and interaction with the lessons offered, as they meet their educational needs and requirements and strengthen their individual skills.

The center’s commitment to offering such courses comes as part of the Qatari Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs’ efforts to develop Islamic relations in general, as well as the center’s keenness to enhance its capacity to teach Arabic in various countries — particularly those in need of support to strengthen the efforts of existing institutions in this field.

Located in Southeast Asian, Cambodia is home to around half a million Muslims.
