Cleric Calls Hazrat Zaynab Embodiment of Believing In, Acting Upon Quran
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Esmaeil Tabatabai, the Deputy of Human Resources and Cultural Affairs of Khuzestan Province’s Justice Department, made the remarks at the closing ceremony of the 11th Quran and Family Competition of the department on Monday, marking the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zaynab (SA).
He referred to Verse 9 of Surah Al-Isra: “Surely this Quran guides to that which is most upright and gives good news to the believers who do good that they shall have a great reward,” and said a successful society is one that, along with faith, also acts on the commands of the Quran.
“The Quran must be at the forefront of our work,” he stressed.
Stating that the ninth verse of Surah Al-Isra is one of the verses of the Quran that teaches lessons, he added that according to this verse, the Quran undoubtedly guides man and has provided a great reward for believers who do righteous deeds.
“The Book of God is the most solid document for guiding nations. Of course, receiving this guidance has a condition, and the condition for guidance is the stability and unity of the Islamic Ummah.”
The cleric added, “Today is the birthday of Hazrat Zaynab (SA), who is a model of steadfastness and perseverance. If we want to remember a model in resistance and perseverance in the face of hardships, we must mention her name. We consider the coincidence of this program with this blessed day as a good omen.”
