
Named “Pusti Verses of Light”, the competition will be held during Ramadan 2026.
The announcement was made at a media briefing on Sunday by Mohammad Mofassel Haque, business director of TK Group.
He said the competition aims to identify and showcase talented Quran memorizer boys and girls from across the country on a national platform, adding that the initiative will continue as part of efforts to promote Quranic practice.
Internationally recognized Qari and chief judge of the competition Sheikh Ahmad bin Yusuf Al-Azhari said the initiative encourages children and young people to develop a deeper connection with the Quran. He also praised TK Group for promoting Islamic values through the program.
Young Hafiz, those who memorize the Quran, from different regions will take part in preliminary audition rounds, after which judges and Islamic scholars will select contestants for the main competition.
The winners will receive cash prizes worth several hundred thousand, along with other awards.

The main episodes will be broadcast daily throughout Ramadan from 5pm until just before the Maghrib call to prayer on Channel Nine.
