Sudan Holy Quran Festival Concludes

TEHRAN (IQNA) - The Administration of Students activities of the National Students Welfare Fund in Sudan concluded at the knowledge enlightenment hall, the second holy Quran festival for the students of the residential compounds.

The event was held in the presence of the Secretary General of the Fund Prof. Mohamed Abdalla Al-Nagarabi holding high the slogan (by the light of Quran we are guided and its Sharia we follow).

The Secretary General of the fund Prof. Al-Nagarabi congratulated wining students for their wining not only in this world but wining rewards from Almighty Allah for learning Quran by heart.
He considered this festival as one of the good deeds because it contains rewards hoping that Quran may be nutrition of spirit and body, calling on the students to pay attention to religious sciences like their attention to this world science as revealed in holy Quran verses.
Islam is the largest religion in Sudan. According to UNDP Sudan, the Muslim population is 97% including numerous Arab and non-Arab groups. The remaining 3% ascribe to either Christianity or traditional animist religions.
