True Followers of Christ (AS) Have Always Been Alongside Muslims

The true followers of Christ have always been alongside Muslims, commander of the Basij Force said.

General Naghdi made the remark in a meeting with families of the Armenian Christians martyred during the 8-year Holy Defense era.

He added that from the time of the Abyssinian king Al-Najashi to the event of Karbala to the Islamic Revolution of Iran, real Christians have sided with Muslims.

General Naghdi underlined that martyrs are the real winners in this world.

He also praised the resistance and fortitude of the families of martyrs and said the entire humanity is indebted to this fortitude and resistance.

He further said it is the Divine promise that Prophet Jesus (AS) will return at the end of the time and will say prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque along with Hazrat Mahdi (may God hasten his glad advent).

The Basij commander extended congratulations to the families of the Christian martyrs on the auspicious occasion of the birth of Prophet Jesus (AS) and the New Year.
