Nat’l Stage of Imam Ali Dar-ol-Quran Contests to Kick off Tomorrow

--The national stage of Quran competitions for men will begin tomorrow, December 29, at Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran in Tehran.
140 individuals who passed the provincial stage successfully will compete in the categories of memorization (10, 20, Juzes and entire holy Quran), research study and Tarteel recitation.

Mohammad Hussein Sabzali, director of the center, told IQNA that t the opening ceremony will begin with recitation of Quran’s verses by Ahmed Abol-Ghasemi, internationally known reciter, which will be followed by a speech by Ahad Aslemohammadi, international Quran referee.

The competition will be judged by Karim Mansuri, Amir Aghayi, Imam Jom’eh, Mohammad Hossein Saeedian, Mohammad Abbasi, Mahdi Gharesheykhlu, Purzargari, Hojat-ol-Islam Shahidipur, Morteza Sadat Fatemi, Ahad Asl Mohammadi ,Shahriar Parhizkar and Sabzali, internationally known Quran reciters of the country.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami will attend the closing ceremony of the event.
Participants will compete for three days at Fatemiyyun Hosseiniye (public hall for religious ceremonies) in Tehran.
