This is according to political experts from the Islamic world speaking at the television program “Al-Wajj Al-Akher” (The Last Face) on Al-Kawthar Global Network.
With an analytical and thought-oriented approach, the program explores the intellectual and cultural roots of contemporary phenomena.
This program attempts to present a deeper picture of the realities of the Islamic world and its relationship with Western civilization, and at the same time, redefines Islamic identity from a new perspective based on human dignity for the Arabic-speaking audience.
“The Last Face” raises fundamental questions about humanity, society, culture, and Islamic civilization through specialized interviews with intellectuals, researchers, and experts in the fields of religion and thought.
Muhammad Al-Nour Al-Zaki, an active figure in the media and Islamic thought from Sudan, is responsible for running this popular program.
In the latest episode of the Al-Kawthar Global Network’s “The Last Face” program, international intellectuals and political experts from the Islamic world spoke about the unprecedented change in Western societies’ view of Islam after the Gaza war.
According to them, the steadfastness and perseverance of the people of Gaza, along with the support of the axis of resistance in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran, has been able to paint a new image of Islam on a global level; an image based on human dignity and confronting hegemony.
In this program, Emad El-Din Hamrouni, a doctor of political geography in France, referred to the “moral victory of the resistance” and emphasized that the humane behavior of the resistance forces and their attention to saving the lives of civilians have discredited the old media narratives about Islam.

He said that Western people today, having directly observed the events in Gaza, are faced with a “narrative crisis” of the mainstream media.
Also, Malik Abu Jamdan, a researcher and doctor of political science from Lebanon, considered the recent wave of attention of Western youth to the Quran and Islamic concepts to be the result of “the return of the sense of searching for meaning.”
He explained, “The new generation in the West has realized that the real Islam is the one that stands in the field of defending humanity and justice, not an image that has been created for years to create fear.”
The program presented reports from the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan and Australia, showing that the study of Islam and the demand for the Quran have increased several times in recent months after the Gaza war.
The experts described this unprecedented attention as an attempt by Western public opinion to understand the source of the patience and perseverance of the people of Gaza and the axis of resistance.
According to the guests of “The Last Face”, the formation of a new image of Islam is an irreversible process that has begun; a process that could have a significant impact on the political and cultural scene of the West in the coming years.
